Daily Discipline: Powered by Jesus

Sister Philippa has asked to share a testimony from what we call our Training Room. This is where we host different spiritual challenges: Bible reading, warfare, thankfulness, confessions, and more. It’s all part of our online training, along with our prayer rooms and other ministry activities.

Philippa entered this ministry one way, and Jesus radically transformed her. For anyone considering joining the ministry, I hope her words encourage you.

Philippa’s Testimony

“I began by participating in the prayer room the very next day after I first encountered Deliverance Revolution. I felt strongly that it was important to commit to something and truly stick with it.

What I didn’t realize at the time is that staying committed to the daily prayer room would bring a lot of stability to my life.

I remember one situation clearly. That day I even posted in the group that I might not be able to give my prayer because I had gotten up at 4:30 AM in France, traveled to Germany, worked all day, and wouldn’t be home until late. I was exhausted. But then I remembered that I had promised to pray every day, and I wanted to honor that commitment.

So I said, ‘No — I’m going to do my prayer. I said yes to this.’ And the moment I decided to record it, I suddenly had the energy to pray more intensely and for longer than any of my previous prayers. It was amazing. Saying ‘yes’ to Jesus and offering myself for Him to use gave me strength, freedom, and a refreshing I didn’t expect — especially after such a long day.

This ministry doesn’t just help others; it transforms us as we serve. It also connects us as a group. Being in that prayer room together every day — no matter where we are on the planet — builds a real bond. Knowing that everyone contributes something truly strengthens and encourages us.”

We give Jesus all the glory. And to clarify, she’s referring to the prayer room — a place where we currently have around sixty people, but we’re believing it will grow to three hundred. You go in with others, click a button, and leave an audio prayer for the group to hear. You can make requests, but the focus is not asking for things. It’s seeking the Lord’s face — praying for His presence, His habitation, deliverance, healing, and His will.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, seek My face, and turn from their sin, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”

That’s the heart of what we’re doing.

Can Children Need Deliverance?

Can Children Need Deliverance? Understanding Spiritual Freedom for the Next Generation

Children can experience spiritual oppression just like adults — but Jesus has the power to set them free. Discover biblical insight and practical steps for parents seeking truth and peace.

Why This Question Matters

Many Christian parents ask, “Can children need deliverance?” It’s an important — and sometimes emotional — question.

We love our children and want to see them safe, peaceful, and protected. Yet sometimes, we notice behaviors, fears, or struggles that seem beyond what’s natural.

Scripture teaches that spiritual warfare is real — and that the enemy seeks to influence lives, even from a young age. But the good news is this: Jesus has authority over every power of darkness, and His protection extends to children as well.

1. The Biblical Basis for Children’s Deliverance

The Bible offers examples showing that even children can experience spiritual oppression.

“A man in the crowd answered, ‘Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.’” — Mark 9:17 (NIV)

In this account, Jesus delivered a child from a tormenting spirit — demonstrating that His authority extends to all ages.

This does not mean every problem in a child is demonic, but it reminds us that spiritual issues can affect young people too.

Children can encounter darkness through:

    • Generational curses or open doors in the family line
    • Exposure to occult entertainment or unclean environments
    • Trauma or abuse that opens the heart to fear and bondage
    • Negative words spoken over them or rejection they’ve experienced

Deliverance, when led by the Holy Spirit, is an act of love — bringing light, peace, and restoration.

2. What Deliverance Looks Like for a Child

Deliverance for a child should always be gentle, prayerful, and Spirit-led — never fearful or forceful. Jesus was tender with the afflicted, especially with the young.

For children, deliverance often involves:

    • Prayers of blessing and protection spoken by parents
    • Breaking generational patterns of sin or fear
    • Removing harmful influences (music, media, toys, etc.)
    • Teaching them who they are in Christ — loved, chosen, and safe

It’s less about dramatic manifestations and more about restoring peace to the child’s heart and mind.

“Perfect love drives out fear.” — 1 John 4:18 (NIV)

3. How to Discern If Deliverance Is Needed

Not every childhood struggle is demonic — sometimes it’s developmental, emotional, or behavioral. But here are some signs that spiritual oppression may be present:

    • Persistent night terrors or tormenting dreams
    • Sudden, unexplained rage, fear, or withdrawal
    • Voices, shadows, or seeing things no one else does
    • Involvement in occult games, witchcraft, or symbolism
    • Family patterns of bondage, addiction, or trauma

If these issues persist despite prayer, love, and care, it may be wise to seek discernment from a trusted pastor or deliverance minister.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” — 1 John 4:1 (ESV)

The Holy Spirit will always lead you in truth and peace — never confusion or panic.

4. The Parent’s Authority in Christ

One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is that parents have spiritual authority over their homes.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.” — Luke 10:19 (KJV)

As a parent, you can pray for your child’s deliverance and protection — not in fear, but in faith.

Here’s how to pray:
    • Declare that your home belongs to Jesus.
    • Command every unclean spirit to leave in His name.
    • Speak peace, love, and blessing over your child.
    • Teach them to pray and worship, even at a young age

A home filled with God’s presence becomes a fortress against darkness.

5. Preventing Spiritual Oppression in Children

Deliverance isn’t only about casting out; it’s about keeping out. Here are ways to cultivate a spiritually safe environment for your child:

    • Guard what enters the home. Be mindful of movies, music, and games.
    • Pray together daily. Create a culture of worship and Scripture reading.
    • Break generational patterns. Repent for family sins and renounce past bondage.
    • Encourage emotional healing. Help children talk through fear or trauma.
    • Stay connected to a faith community. Cover your family in prayer and accountability.

Raising children in the Lord is a daily act of deliverance — teaching them to walk in light and truth.

6. The Heart of Deliverance: Love, Not Fear

Deliverance for children should always be rooted in love, not fear or superstition. The goal is never to “hunt demons” but to bring healing, peace, and identity in Christ.

Jesus loves children deeply. He said:

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

When you bring your child to Jesus in prayer, you bring them into the safest place possible — His presence.

Final Encouragement: Freedom for the Whole Family

Yes, children can need deliverance — but more importantly, they can experience lasting freedom in Christ.

The same Jesus who calmed storms, cast out demons, and healed the brokenhearted still moves with compassion today. As you pray over your children, invite the Holy Spirit to guide you with wisdom, discernment, and peace.

Your prayers carry power. Your love brings healing. And the presence of Jesus in your home brings freedom for generations to come.

“The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” — 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV)

Obedience Turns to Favor

Obedience Turns to Favor

Sister Xilo’s Testimony:

I have a financial testimony this time. My husband and I bought this house last year with the sale of our townhouse. We moved in around the middle of August. Recently, as happens every year, our mortgage company reviewed our escrow account to adjust for insurance and property taxes.

At the beginning of October, we got a letter saying our payment adjustment would be about $120. But when we went online to pay our bill, it said our escrow was short by $9,000, and our new monthly mortgage payment was going up by almost $800!

We were like, “Oh man…” because this month has already been tight for us. My husband is an aircraft mechanic, and he gets a small commission bonus each month—usually about $1,000. It’s consistent.

But this month, when he got his paycheck on Friday, his bonus was $1,750—just $50 short of the increase in our mortgage!

It honestly made me want to cry, because $800 is a big deal for us. I even asked him, “Did you do more work this month?” And he said, “No, everything was about the same.” The company’s output hadn’t changed either—it was the same amount of work.

So we both knew what it was—God’s favor.

Pastor Nate’s Response:

Come on now! You already know what it is. God’s blessing you because you’ve been faithfully sowing and tithing into this ministry.

And I’m not talking about $10 a month—you’ve been consistent, obedient, and generous even when times were tight. That’s how God works. He doesn’t just randomly throw blessings around—He honors obedience to His Word.

He’s blessing you, Sister Xilo.

Are All Problems Demonic? | Spiritual Warfare & Wisdom

The Question Many Believers Ask

In the world of deliverance and spiritual warfare, one common question echoes among believers: “Are all problems demonic?”

It is easy to blame every difficulty on the devil — especially when life feels chaotic or under attack. But Scripture calls us to walk in discernment, not fear.

The truth is: while the enemy does seek to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), not every problem we face originates from demonic influence. Some challenges are emotional, physical, or simply the result of living in a fallen world.

Understanding this balance is essential for walking in wisdom and true freedom.

1. Recognizing the Real Enemy

The Bible is clear — there is a spiritual enemy. Paul wrote:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world…” — Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

Demonic forces are real, and they do attack believers through temptation, oppression, fear, and deception. However, not every struggle is caused by a demon. The devil is not behind every flat tire, argument, or illness.

Sometimes, what we call “spiritual warfare” is simply the consequence of poor decisions, natural causes, or emotional wounds that need healing.

2. Three Main Sources of Problems

When evaluating the root of a problem, Scripture reveals three main sources:

a. The Flesh (Human Nature)

Many struggles come from our own desires and choices.

“Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.” — James 1:14 (NIV)

Not everything is a demon — sometimes it’s discipline we need, not deliverance.

b. The World (Environment and Systems)

We live in a fallen world filled with broken systems, injustice, and pain. Jesus said,

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NIV)

Some problems arise from life’s circumstances, not spiritual attack.

c. The Devil (Spiritual Forces)

There are also moments when the enemy is directly involved — sowing confusion, fear, and destruction.

“Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV)

Discerning which of these three is at work helps you respond correctly — whether through repentance, practical wisdom, or spiritual warfare.

3. The Danger of Over-Spiritualizing Everything

When believers assume everything is demonic, they risk missing natural or emotional causes that God wants to heal through process, not power encounters.

    • Depression may have biological roots as well as spiritual ones.
    • Financial strain may come from poor stewardship, not a curse.
    • Relationship conflict often requires communication and forgiveness, not exorcism.

God cares about every part of us — body, soul, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). True deliverance involves wholeness in all three areas.

4. The Importance of Discernment

Discernment is the key to understanding whether a problem is spiritual or natural.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” — 1 John 4:1 (ESV)

The Holy Spirit gives believers supernatural insight to recognize patterns, identify strongholds, and apply the right solution.

Ask Him: Is this

    • an attack from the enemy?
    • a result of my own choices?
    • a trial meant for growth?

When you listen to the Spirit’s guidance, you’ll respond from wisdom, not fear.

5. When Problems Are Demonic

Yes, there are times when demons are the root of an issue. Signs of demonic involvement can include:

    • Persistent torment, fear, or night attacks
    • Compulsive sinful behavior or addiction
    • Extreme resistance to prayer or Scripture
    • Physical manifestations under spiritual pressure

In such cases, deliverance prayer and spiritual warfare — led by the Holy Spirit — are essential. But remember: Jesus already gave you the authority.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.” — Luke 10:19 (KJV)

6. When Problems Are Not Demonic

Sometimes deliverance isn’t the answer — discipleship is. We don’t cast out the flesh; we crucify it. (Galatians 5:24)

If your struggle involves:

    • Spiritual immaturity
    • Lack of self-control
    • Emotional wounds
    • Need for healing or counseling

— the solution may involve renewing your mind, seeking counsel, and applying biblical wisdom, not rebuking spirits.

7. Walking in Balance and Victory

True spiritual maturity recognizes both the natural and supernatural realms. We must neither deny the existence of demons nor give them undue attention.

Deliverance without discipleship leads to relapse, but discipleship without deliverance leaves people bound. Both are vital.

Stay close to the Holy Spirit. He will show you when to resist the enemy and when to renew your mind.

Final Encouragement

Not all problems are demonic — but all problems can be overcome in Christ. Whether your battle is physical, emotional, or spiritual, Jesus is the answer.

He delivers, He heals, and He teaches. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the root, apply God’s truth, and lead you into lasting freedom.

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36 (NIV)

Unhooked by Grace

Unhooked by Grace

Sister Rebecca’s Deliverance Testimony

This morning, the Lord woke me up early and led me to worship. Instead of going back to sleep, I obeyed and began worshiping.

How the Hook Got In

While I was in worship, I suddenly started remembering something that happened last September when I was renouncing my old life in Miami. At the time, I had thrown what I thought was a simple going-away party at my friend’s art studio — not realizing they were going to perform witchcraft on me that night.

That night, I used ketamine with them, and in the spiritual realm, something got attached to me. I could literally feel it — like a hook on my face — and for a whole year after that, I carried a heavy oppression over me. It brought confusion, fear, and mental blockage. It felt like torment.

Total Surrender, Total Freedom

Finally this morning, while worshiping and fully surrendering to God, that spiritual hook finally broke off. It literally felt like it came out of me. The oppression lifted, and I could feel freedom washing over me.

Jesus is at the center of my life, and now I’m not chasing deliverance or chasing freedom — I’m chasing Jesus. I love Him so much. God has freed me, and I’m no longer a prisoner to sorcery or darkness. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old things have passed away, and everything has become new. God is so good!

Because of this, Deliverance Revolution is a powerful tool God uses, but you must be willing to do the work. God is so faithful! He answers prayer. If you take one step toward Him, He will hold your hand and lead you the rest of the way.

So, if you’re ready to truly change your life, be all in. You can’t have one foot in and one foot out. I tried that—I stepped away for a few months and came back worse than before. However, when I finally surrendered completely, everything changed.

So, I would absolutely recommend Deliverance Revolution to anyone who’s ready to walk the narrow path, get free, and give their life to Jesus.

To God be the glory — always.

The Holy Spirit’s Role in Deliverance | Power to Set Free

The Holy Spirit’s Role in Deliverance: Power That Sets Captives Free

Understanding Deliverance: More Than a Moment

Deliverance is often seen as a dramatic event — demons fleeing, chains breaking, freedom coming suddenly. While that can happen, true deliverance is a process led by the Holy Spirit, not merely a single encounter.

Jesus made it clear that His mission on earth was one of deliverance and healing through the Spirit’s power:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives…” — Luke 4:18 (NKJV)

This same Spirit that anointed Jesus is the same Spirit living inside every believer today. Deliverance is the work of the Holy Spirit — revealing truth, breaking yokes, and leading us into freedom.

The Holy Spirit: The Deliverer Within

When we talk about deliverance, it’s easy to focus on external forces — demonic oppression, curses, and spiritual battles. But the true deliverance process begins within the heart, through the convicting and purifying work of the Holy Spirit.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV)

The Holy Spirit delivers us by:

1. Revealing the truth – He exposes lies, deception, and hidden sin that give the enemy access.

2. Convicting hearts – His conviction leads to repentance, which closes spiritual doors.

3. Empowering believers – The Holy Spirit gives authority to resist and cast out unclean spirits.

4. Healing wounds – He restores emotional and spiritual areas broken by trauma or sin.

Deliverance is not a human work — it’s a divine partnership. Without the Holy Spirit, there’s no lasting freedom.

The Holy Spirit and the Power to Cast Out

When Jesus cast out demons, He did it by the Spirit of God:

“But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.” — Matthew 12:28 (NKJV)

This reveals the true power source in deliverance — the Holy Spirit. He is the One who confronts darkness and enforces Christ’s victory over the enemy.

Even the apostles couldn’t operate in deliverance until they were filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2). Power came after the filling.

Deliverance without the Spirit is powerless. Deliverance through the Spirit brings permanent transformation, because it cleanses the heart and renews the mind.

Deliverance Through the Spirit: A Process of Renewal

The Holy Spirit not only drives out unclean spirits — He fills the space they leave behind. This is crucial.

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest… and if it finds the house empty, it returns…” — Matthew 12:43–45

Deliverance without the Holy Spirit’s indwelling leads to relapse. But when the Spirit fills your life, He establishes peace, purity, and power that keep the enemy out.

The process looks like this:

1. Revelation – The Spirit reveals areas of bondage or deception.

2. Repentance – You respond in obedience, renouncing sin and closing doors.

3. Release – The Spirit drives out darkness and breaks spiritual ties.

4. Renewal – He fills your heart with His presence, love, and truth.

Deliverance is not just about what leaves you — it’s about Who enters.

The Fruits of Deliverance by the Holy Spirit

When deliverance is Spirit-led, it produces lasting fruit. Instead of fear or confusion, the believer walks in peace, joy, and authority.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” — Galatians 5:22–23

The Holy Spirit transforms what was once broken. He renews minds, restores relationships, and empowers believers to walk in holiness. That’s why true deliverance isn’t just freedom from something — it’s freedom for something: to live fully for Christ.

Partnering with the Holy Spirit in Deliverance

If you minister deliverance or are seeking it yourself, the key is to partner with the Holy Spirit, not strive in your own strength. Here’s how:

Stay surrendered. Yield to the Holy Spirit’s leading — He knows the root causes and timing.

Pray in the Spirit. Tongues build your faith and invite divine intervention (Jude 1:20).

Worship often. The presence of the Spirit in worship drives out oppression and invites peace.

Feed on the Word. Scripture renews the mind and reinforces freedom.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t just free you — He keeps you free.

Final Encouragement: Freedom That Lasts

Deliverance is more than casting out darkness — it’s welcoming the Light. The Holy Spirit is not a force; He’s a Person — the very presence of God, sent to empower and sanctify you.

Where He dwells, bondage cannot remain. Where He moves, chains must break. Where He reigns, freedom is permanent.

If you desire lasting deliverance, invite the Holy Spirit to take full control of your life. Let Him expose, heal, and fill every part of your heart.

“It is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. — Zechariah 4:6

True freedom isn’t found through striving — it’s found through surrender.

Kingdom Fasting: Focus on God’s Agenda, Not Yours

“Kingdom fasting” usually refers to fasting that is not just about abstaining from food for personal benefit, but fasting with a kingdom mindset—seeking God’s will, advancing His purposes, and aligning with His rule in every area of life. It goes beyond religious ritual and self-denial; it’s fasting with intentionality for the glory of God and the building of His kingdom.

Here are some key aspects often connected with kingdom fasting:

  1. God-Centered, Not Self-Centered
    • Instead of fasting primarily for personal breakthrough, weight loss, or health, kingdom fasting is about surrendering desires to seek God’s presence, guidance, and purposes.
    • (Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”)
  2. Fasting with Righteousness
    • Isaiah 58 describes the fast God chooses: loosing the bonds of wickedness, undoing heavy burdens, letting the oppressed go free, feeding the hungry, and clothing the poor. This shows that kingdom fasting is tied to justice, mercy, and love in action.
    • Focus on forgiveness and giving to someone in need.
  3. Spiritual Warfare & Intercession
    • Kingdom fasting often includes standing in the gap for nations, families, communities, and churches—praying for revival, deliverance, and the advancement of God’s kingdom on earth.
  4. Transformation & Alignment
    • It’s about allowing God to shape our hearts so we walk in holiness, obedience, and power.
    • The goal is not just answers to prayer, but transformation into Christlikeness, so His will can flow through us.
  5. Empowerment for Kingdom Work
    • Jesus fasted before beginning His public ministry (Luke 4). Kingdom fasting prepares and empowers believers for effective service, boldness, and spiritual authority.

In short: Kingdom fasting is fasting with a focus on God’s kingdom agenda—justice, righteousness, revival, and transformation—rather than merely personal gain.
