Use These Tools to Keep Away Demons – Daily Maintenance

The following steps are suggested for daily use to help you as you grow in Christ and continue in your spiritual authority to walk in freedom and exercise power over the enemy. In other words, do the following and stay free of demons. Daily Maintenance

  1. Confess Sin Immediately. Memorize 1 John 1:9, And Keep This Verse Alive In Your Spirit.

“If we confess our sins. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Apply this to your life, do not allow sin to linger. If must be forgiven, and you must be cleansed immediately. Deliverance is only as good as our obedience!

  1. When Negative Thoughts Come, You Must Rebuke Them And Replace Them With Positive Thoughts.

Here is a verse for you to apply: “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be of any virtue, and if there be anything praise worthy, meditate on that phrase. (Philippians 4:8)

Make sure the thoughts that enter your mind fall in this category.

  1. Premeditated Sin Will Invite Demons. Keep Your Plans Holy and Pleasing to God.

“For this is our love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” 1 John 5:3   There is an awesome promise in keeping his commandments in doing things that please him. “ In whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.” (1 John 3:22) Focus on pleasing him!

  1. Anticipate Increased Freedom As you Walk In Obedience.

You must learn to dismiss immediately painful memories of your past and live in anticipation of life without bondage. “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)

  1. Never Forget That Satan And All Of His Demons Are Liars. Learn To Recognize The Lie.

“When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”       (John 8:44) On of the favorite ploys of demons is to try to convince you that what took place was only emotional and that you are still in the enemy’s grip.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners: and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”   (James 4:7-8)

  1. Trust God Daily To Help You Make Correct Choices, And He Will.

“Having begun in the Spirit, you are now being made perfect in the flesh?” (Galatians 3:3)

  1. Use The Name Of Jesus, The Blood Of The Lamb, And Your Confession Of Faith Against All Satan’s Temptations And Condemnation.

All condemnation comes from Satan…. Never believe him! You have been cleansed by the blood and thru the name of Jesus Christ: you are blood protected! “And they overcame Him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death!” (Revelation 12:11) “Therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.” (Romans 8:1)

  1. Allow The Holy Spirit To Control Your Life – All of You, All The Time!

Make a conscience choice to make Jesus Lord of every day and every situation. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable in perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2)

“And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” (Eph. 5-18)

“Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?” (Galatians 3:5)

  1. God’s Holy Word Must Have A Predominant Place In Your Life.

“This may mean not doing something that would take you away from it. Take time or make time to read, to learn, and meditate on God’s word every day. If time is limited, carry scripture verse cards with you for your free times. Get CDs of the Bible and play it in your car or office. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalm and hymns and spiritual psalms, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Galatians 3:16)
