A Sudden Physical Attack

Dear Pastor Nate,

I want to share my testimony of being healed in the mighty name of Jesus, just as the Word of God declares.

After over a month of intense military training, I finally returned home and began unpacking my gear. However, in the middle of unpacking, my stomach suddenly began to rumble, and sharp pain set in.

Rapid Onset of Symptoms

Within moments, my body reacted intensely. My arms began to itch uncontrollably, and bumps quickly appeared on both arms.

At first, they looked like mosquito bites. However, they rapidly spread and grew worse. Soon, my hands turned red and swelled so badly that I could barely pick anything up.

Then, in less than five minutes, the same symptoms appeared on my thighs and lower legs. The pain became sharp and persistent, and I found myself scratching constantly.

Turning to Jesus in the Moment of Fear

At that moment, confusion and fear set in. I did not understand what was happening, and I worried the condition would continue or worsen.

However, I remembered something greater than my fear—Jesus Christ.

Even though my faith felt small at that moment, I chose to pray.

Declaring God’s Word in Faith

I began to speak the Word of God out loud, specifically Isaiah 53:5–6, which I had learned as a powerful healing scripture.

As I declared God’s Word, I stood on His promise of healing.

Healing in Jesus’ Name

Through prayer and faith in Jesus, healing came.

What began as a sudden and intense physical attack was overcome by the power of God. As a result, I give all glory to Jesus Christ for His healing and faithfulness.
